Wrestlemania 28 Predictions.

What some of you may or may not know, I am a huge fan of professional wrestling. I won't say it's my guilty pleasure because no pleasure should be guilty...cept for that Chris Hansen stuff. That's just wrong.

With the biggest show of the year coming up in a little less than a week, I am going to give the world my picks for this years 'Mania.

Wow. Maria Menudos and Kelly Kelly vs Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix. The chance of this being any kind of entertaining is about equal to that of people in Hell getting cold water to drink. Ugh. I have to pick a winner?

WINNERS: Kelly Kelly & Maria Menudos.

I firmly believe that Kane even bothered to come back because they want him to work with folks they have nothing for, but can't really release. Just my opinion. However, this could be a decent filler match for the under card of the event.

WINNER: Randy Orton

Prior to this article, The Miz was added to Team Johnny and Booker T to Team Teddy.

This is one of those matches where you see all the powerful superstars on one team and you think that the weaker team is going to come back and win and all will be right with the world. However with this match, I think you'd be sadly mistaken.

WINNER: Team Johnny

Cody Rhodes is defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against The Big Show. There are two ways I see this happening.

1. Cody wins, the Big Show continues to be a loser.

or

2. Cody loses the title to the Big Show, all the little kids are happy and Cody is finally pushed into the main event picture where he belongs and we can see him with a World or WWE Heavyweight Title run. I prefer this option.

WINNER: Big Show

First and foremost I would like to say that I LOVE what they are doing with the Daniel Bryan character. Yes Yes Yes.

That being said, I don't see Bryan walking out of Mania with the title. BUT - it all depends on the Cody Rhodes/Big Show match. If Cody wins, Sheamus wins. If Cody loses, Bryan retains. I secretly want Cody to win his match...really bad, because I LOVE Bryan with the title, however..

WINNER: Sheamus

This is the match where the mark in me will come into play. I am not sure what Jericho's long term status is in the WWE so I will have to go with the champ in this one.

WINNER: CM Punk

A blind man could see this coming. Taker is NOT going to let the streak end. Triple H has been vocal about the streak NOT ending. Let's run this down, shall we? Remember Undertaker vs Bret Hart? Shawn was the guest ref and hated Bret. But he accidentally ended up screwing Taker out of the title. WWE has a tendency to repeat things and hope the fans are too stupid to realize it's been done. Shawn goes to screw Taker, hits Trips, end of story.

WINNER: The Undertaker

Honestly, I really don't care about this match. We all know the older guy came back to help solidify the younger guy as "the man".

Andre did it for Hogan.

Hogan did it for The Rock.

And now, The Rock is doing it for Cena.

WINNER: John Cena

These are my predictions. This is what I think. WWE is notorious for changing things up until the last minute, so of course, I may be wrong. What about you? What do YOU think will happen on the grandest stage of them all?

New Doctor Who Series 7 PROPER Trailer

The Ponds return only to leave! It's a sad day and i am not looking forward to them leaving. I think that's the sign of a good companion really. That you love them so much you are sad to see them leave. This trailer is really the beginning of the end for them, but shows such great adventures on the horizon for the good Doctor. I can't wait!

Walking Dead - "Beside The Dying Fire"

It's been long enough I think to post what I think of the second season finale of The Walking Dead, "Besides the Dying Fire". Folks around my next of the woods of Facebook have been heated in regards to spoilers, so if you haven't seen it by now, I'm not sure you can complain. Yet, I still feel compelled to warn you,

SPOILERS AHEAD!

This was simply put an amazing episode. Yet even amazing things have their flaws. The amazing zombie battle, where we see the ends of Jimmy and Patricia, and Herschel taking out zombies one by one with amazingly placed shotgun blasts. The debut of Michonne as she saves Andrea from a walker. The reveal of what Jenner told Rick at the end of season 1, that we are ALL infected and the reveal at the very end of the episode of the prison. If you read the comics you know what an important part of the story the prison will play. And Rick's speech at the end where he confirms that from now on, its a Ricktatorship. This episode really helped the season end strongly despite its kind of slow start.

That being said, there were bits of this episode that really kind of threw me for a loop.

- Why is no one watching Carl?
You've killed off Sophia, you'd think that the group would be keen to keep an eye on the only remaining child. The "last hope of humanity" if you want to get dramatic. No, Carl roams the farm like a lost cow. Hell, he got Dale killed.

- Why was Lori so upset at Rick?
When Rick reveals to Lori that he is the person who killed Shane, she goes cold on him. Acting as if she wasn't the one who really put these things into motion to begin with. I'm sorry but if my wife was upset that I killed a guy who was trying to kill me and put our entire group in danger, I think its time for post apocalypse divorce court.

- Everyone Hates Rick
Okay, so hate may be a strong term, but it fits here. Everyone in the group seems to have their own idea of what they should be doing, but Rick is the only one who seems to know what NEEDS to be done. A friend of mine said it best, to put it bluntly, "These people need to be told when to shit, and when they're told it's time to shit, they don't wanna shit". The only person, if any of them, that seemed to agree with Rick is Herschel.

- T-Dog
Why is he still here? Is there a bigger purpose for him? They dispatched of Jimmy and Patricia, why not him as well? Are they keeping him around for the return of Merle to created some just add water drama to the situation? Please tell me that they are better than that.

I'm sure you've heard all of these gripes before, and I'm sure you'll hear them again from other folks, but these are my thoughts on the season finale. An amazing episode with it's own little demons that we had to over come.

If I Cast the Justice League

With the AVENGERS film about to come out in the coming months, and DC unable to get any kind of a Justice League film off the ground, I have taken it upon myself to cast what I think would make a brilliant JUSTICE LEAGUE film. Let's get started.

Yes. I would re-cast Brandon Routh as Superman. Despite the lackluster nature of SUPERMAN RETURNS, I thought that Brandon did a great job as the Man of Steel and deserves another shot to don the cape.

I know it would never happen, but this is my little world and Bale has proven himself in two Batman films (despite the voice) and I think, ego aside, he would continue to be a great Batman in a JUSTICE LEAGUE film.

Gina Carano. Wonder Woman. I don't even need to get into this one.
This one has been on the mouths of comic book fans for awhile, but Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan. The GREEN LANTERN of Sector 2814.
Chris Pine has the needed chops to pull off The Fastest Man Alive, Barry Allen.
Now I am far from a fan of True Blood, but I really think that for an Aquaman, Alexander Skarsgard would be perfect for the role of Arthur Curry.
When it comes to Martian Manhunter, I would like to go CGI with the character. Who better to voice him than the man himself, Keith David!
Finally, putting all these super powered beings together, they would need a super villain to take on. Enter: DARKSEID. Voiced by the man who did an amazing job in the Superman and Justice League Animated Series, Michael Ironside.

Now, keep in mind this is MY list. Who I would cast if I was given the power by  DC/WB and whoever the hell else signs the paychecks.

Now, who's ready for the AVENGERS movie? :)
