First Female Doctor?
So you are a writer. You write about something that you are passionate about. That thing? Doctor Who. You play an April Fool's joke on the world that there is going to be a female Doctor. We all have a laugh. Then something happens. Then it turns out that your joke, maybe the truth after all. Whatever do I mean?
According to the UK paper, Daily Express, the Doctor will be regenerating into a female for the 50th anniversary celebration. Not the Christmas Special like it was reported.
A mole inside the Doctor Who camp was very vocal about the regeneration.
"The 50th anniversary series will end with a very big twist," the mole claimed. "The Doctor becoming a woman will give the show a new lease of life."
The mole also stated that the front runner for the female Doctor's job is none other than Lara Pulver, who you might remember from the other Moffat run show, SHERLOCK.
What do YOU think? It would take a lot for me to get used to a female Doctor. You get into a groove with things and you don't like them being upset. You don't want to pick up all the apples and set the cart back up after someone's knocked it down. I'm used to the Doctor and female companion who falls in love with him dynamic that we've come to grow and love (well some despise it.)
But what do YOU think loyal fan and fellow Whovians? Is this a good idea? Could it all be bullshit? Will Steven Moffat have the mole killed publicly by hanging? Only time will tell.
