Help Jared Hoy

He's the gentleman to your right. 

Last year some time I wrote an episode of an upcoming web series called THE LADIES & GENTS SHOW. Jared Hoy was tapped to direct that episode. From what I have seen from the episode, it is going to look amazing. The man has an amazing visual style, and heavens help us, Id love to work with him again. 

But Im not here to just promote. Jared needs our help. 

On Thanksgiving of 2012, while Jared was hosting a Thanksgiving party for some of his friends who couldn't make it home for the holiday, he was robbed. Now when I say robbed, I don't mean someone took his wallet and called 900 numbers with his credit cards, I mean he was ROBBED. 

Even with 8 folks present, there was a break in and approximately $20,000 USD worth of camera, lighting and audio equipment was stolen. The police and the insurance company have been of no help so now it's time we rally together and give him a hand. 

He has set up an Indiegogo page to try and raise the money to, in a sense, rebuild his life. There are quite a few great perks for you when you donate (and a full list of equipment that was taken as well.)

If you have ever seen anything Jared has done, take the time out to donate to help him out as a way of saying thanks. If you don't have the cash, at least help spread the word. This is truly a very worthy cause.
