Batman #13: A Review

I won't lie. I have been very vocal about my dislike of the new 52. I have my core DC titles that I stick with because they never let me down.

Batman is one of those titles.

With issue #13, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo have brought back Batman's most diabolical villain ever, The Joker.

Now if you think that this is going to be just another cookie cutter attempt to cash in on the Joker by DC, you are in for a treat.

The book starts with a very large sense of dread looming in the air during a conversation between Bullock and Gordon and that is the only peace you are going to get. Mr J shows up at GCPD and raises all sort of hell that only he could raise and it only gets better from there.

Joker really has Batman running through hoops in this issue and it ends with such a cliffhanger ending that if I keep trying to review this issue, I'm going to spoil it and you have to see it for yourself.

Death of the Family is going to be something that is bound to take us on a ride that we probably aren't ready for.

10/10
